Get Metrics
Active data holders in the CDR report information to the ACCC regarding performance and availability as set out in the Consumer Data Standards. This data is retrieved by the CDR Register using the Get Metrics API, as defined in the Consumer Data Standards. As such, Data Holders are required to make the Get Metrics API available for the CDR Register to call and must ensure the data returned in response to this API call is complete and accurate.
The Get Metrics API endpoint allows the ACCC to obtain statistics from the Data Holder on the operation of their CDR-compliant implementation. Data Holders must report this information separately for each of their brands.
This information is used to:
monitor adoption of the CDR,
assess the performance of data holders against the Non-Functional Requirements, and
produce the CDR Performance Dashboard.
Note: This endpoint is not required to be implemented by the Australian Energy Market Operator, the Australian Energy Regulator, or the Department of State administered by the Minister of Victoria administering the National Electricity (Victoria) Act 2005 (Vic).
